5

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: or more easily navigate life's challenges along the way. Welcome to the show, Cecilia. It's great to have you here.

6

::

Cecilia de Groot: Hi! Thank you, Jill, excited to be here.

7

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Okay? So I'm gonna ask you the big question, are you ready?

8

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Sure

9

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: like to prepare people for this? What's the most significant thing in your opinion, as individuals, we can do to make an impact on how the world is going.

10

::

Cecilia de Groot: Trusting yourself.

11

::

Cecilia de Groot: in my work. The biggest thing is people people who really don't trust themselves, you know, and they come to someone like me

12

::

Cecilia de Groot: to help give them that guidance. And I'm like I try to put it back on them like, yeah, I can show you that. You know these are the possibilities

13

::

Cecilia de Groot: you have all the answers.

14

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, that's pretty much it in a nutshell.

15

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: People. People don't really realize how intuitive they actually are and how much.

16

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: how much tuned in they could be with very little effort. I mean, it's it's not like.

17

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Only certain people are channels, and only certain people have these these gifts. It's really available to all of us. It's like, you know we all can taste food.

18

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Well, most of us can taste food. It may taste different to some people, and I think the same goes with like vision or touch, or any of the other senses you have. Intuition is just a sense right.

19

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, yeah, it is. And I was, I just had a like thing pop up as I was

20

::

Cecilia de Groot: thinking about like trust. And and where that goes and what that looks like, I think there's a foundation of. We've kind of lost touch with our sense of worthiness as well. So if you don't feel like you're worthy, how can you trust yourself? Right?

21

::

Cecilia de Groot: So there's like, there's this whole dynamic

22

::

Cecilia de Groot: around all of that. And it's like, Well, we'll feel worthy because you are here, and whether or not you believe in like

23

::

Cecilia de Groot: a Creator, or a god, or whatever it is right. I I do believe that there's a divine intelligence that

24

::

Cecilia de Groot: made all this happen, because, you know, it's it's

25

::

Cecilia de Groot: it's profound and amazing. And and you're not junk like God or Creator doesn't make junk, and you know I love. I love my son. He always reminds me.

26

::

Cecilia de Groot: you're like one in a 4 trillion chance.

27

::

Cecilia de Groot: That's a miracle.

28

::

Cecilia de Groot: How come? We don't feel worthy, you know, and and I look in my old past right, and the entire system that we are are in and are part of

29

::

Cecilia de Groot: that was designed by human beings is all about thwarting that

30

::

Cecilia de Groot: right right from early on. You can't trust yourself. You have to

31

::

Cecilia de Groot: obey your your teachers and your

32

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know your ministers, and whoever else. And if they have an opinion about you that takes away your sense of worthiness and your sense of self. Then.

33

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know, where does that lead us spinning around, wondering what light is about. So, yeah.

34

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's for control, because you can't control a free people, and and freedom exists primarily in your head.

35

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And you can be in jail and still be free, because they can't.

36

::

Cecilia de Groot: Absolutely.

37

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: No one can control your thoughts except you and

38

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: an intuition kind of works the same way. It's like, if if you feel worthy

39

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and you recognize your worth. And you

40

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: you put your boundaries up and say, you know, I'm not gonna let people into my space, whether it's mental or physical that are are making.

41

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: not even making. But I'm allowing

42

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: to make decisions about who I am or how I how I interact with others.

43

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think a lot of times that people have just been raised to accept other people having control over their thoughts

44

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: about themselves, which is, yeah, like, so horrible.

45

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, it is, it is. And I I aim to change that with my work, or like one of the many things I aim to, you know, impart to people.

46

::

Cecilia de Groot: You can either take it or leave it, of course, right, but that's been my own journey. I had my voice, rob for me essentially as a young child, and it's been a

47

::

Cecilia de Groot: my entire life working to reclaim it and be like I can stand in my power, and

48

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know, I had to go through like 8 years of family court with

49

::

Cecilia de Groot: a very violent man, and the system doesn't get it, and they just keep perpetuating it because they make all kinds of money on you.

50

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I had lots of gaslighting from these people as well. So I had to really lean in to my own self around and be like. I know my story just because you sit there and tell me that it doesn't exist.

51

::

Cecilia de Groot: It does. And it's real to me.

52

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Doesn't make it right? Yeah.

53

::

Cecilia de Groot: Oh, yeah.

54

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So empowering.

55

::

Cecilia de Groot: Right it. It took a lot to get there, you know. It's just like, okay. I had. I had a judge actually tell me that the abuse I was experiencing was normal.

56

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I was like, Okay, so somehow, I have to normalize this abuse.

57

::

Cecilia de Groot: which is, you know. And then I could see that on the on the bigger scale of things I'm like, well, everywhere I look, there's this

58

::

Cecilia de Groot: abuse, right?

59

::

Cecilia de Groot: So yeah. And the system is broken and corrupt they have. They're in it for their own, you know, land, their own pockets, or whatever, and.

60

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, I'm like, I'm.

61

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Systems, too. It's not like

62

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: some of them. It's like everything is that way. And it's matter if you're red or blue, or purple or pink, or whatever.

63

::

Cecilia de Groot: Oh, man!

64

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It. It's like.

65

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: just because you think they're out to get you doesn't make you crazy because they probably are out to get you.

66

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, yeah, it's all. Yeah. It's all an energy game. Right? They want to control you. They want to control your energy. If you if you look at the whole like in the beginning, they take an imprint of the sole of your foot.

67

::

Cecilia de Groot: and then you get like a birth certificate, and that essentially controls your well, what is it? You're

68

::

Cecilia de Groot: the straw man. They call it right, like the the thing that's allowed.

69

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's not even.

70

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's not even you.

71

::

Cecilia de Groot: No, but there, yeah, there they are. I'm like, Wow, isn't that some like I call it spelling, and like, it's some kind of like.

72

::

Cecilia de Groot: Witchcrafty thing, but not quite. It's more sinister than what I would think witchcraft would actually be.

73

::

Cecilia de Groot: and they're trying to own your soul by taking the sole of your foot right where you're grounded, what you walk upon

74

::

Cecilia de Groot: your foundation.

75

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I'm like, Wow, that's crafty.

76

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Actually sell you.

77

::

Cecilia de Groot: They do?

78

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That is, that is a contract. It's a legal contract, and you're being sold. I've heard, to the Vatican, but.

79

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah.

80

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It. It's definitely to the government of the country that you live in.

81

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You are, you are now, and and they've gone even further with the whole social security. You have to have a social security number before you get out of the hospital.

82

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. Yeah.

83

::

Cecilia de Groot: Well, I have a different story on that.

84

::

Cecilia de Groot: My 1st son was born in a teepee.

85

::

Cecilia de Groot: And assisted, and I didn't get him a birth certificate until he was 5, and they did it like

86

::

Cecilia de Groot: purely out of necessity. You know I'd left his father.

87

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I was facing all these things like, I left with nothing. Right? So it was like, Okay, well, now, I have to make the hard choice

88

::

Cecilia de Groot: and hope that we can

89

::

Cecilia de Groot: rectify this later right? I haven't even done it for my own self, because it's like

90

::

Cecilia de Groot: there's always some tap in thing that you end up needing along the way. And I'm like, Oh, they get you.

91

::

Cecilia de Groot: But that doesn't mean that they own what's inside of me as much as they might try.

92

::

Cecilia de Groot: They were trying to convince me of that. So yeah.

93

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Just look at it as a game. It's a game.

94

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah.

95

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And I can pick and choose what part of the game I'm willing to play, and.

96

::

Cecilia de Groot: Exactly.

97

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: We always have con. We always have choices. We might not like the consequences of our choices, but we always have choices.

98

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's true. Yeah.

99

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah. But like learning that, and like learning to unhook from all of that, that's kind of the work

100

::

Cecilia de Groot: that I do.

101

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: You know, and so.

102

::

Cecilia de Groot: As the tea leaf, reader, Channeler, people like. Oh, you know your psychic work. Some people are very much like, well, that's devil work

103

::

Cecilia de Groot: like, okay? Because I actually feel like it's really positive and empowering.

104

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I'm not out to like

105

::

Cecilia de Groot: make anybody do anything or or behave. Anyway, I'm just. I'm just there to like show them

106

::

Cecilia de Groot: another possibility, you know, just a little glimpse of, like something that they, I believe, always know.

107

::

Cecilia de Groot: and they just haven't felt ready to take that next step. So that's where I come in.

108

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It sounds kind of like you're an empowerment coach in that. When people leave religion.

109

::

Cecilia de Groot: Hmm.

110

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's an incredible sense of freedom.

111

::

Cecilia de Groot: Experience.

112

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's like you've. You've heard all the stories, and you know all the the shoulds and shouldn'ts, and then then you leave, and you realize that you are God.

113

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It is part of who you fundamentally are. I think.

114

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And I think I sent sometimes wonder if

115

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it doesn't experience. We're here to have an experience for it.

116

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And I wonder if it doesn't experience all of our experiences simultaneously.

117

::

Cecilia de Groot: Oh, yeah.

118

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: At one time, including like what's going on with the trees or the bugs, or whatever I mean, every every moment of the ever present. Now.

119

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it's having an experience that includes all of our experiences that we're having in that moment.

120

::

Cecilia de Groot: And and you know, bringing that up, too, about the work that I do.

121

::

Cecilia de Groot: because I believe in multiple timelines. You know, I'm like we can shift our future

122

::

Cecilia de Groot: possibility just by shifting our. You know our thinking in the moment right.

123

::

Cecilia de Groot: And so that's 1 thing I do tell my clients I'm like the future is not set. I'm picking up on one of many possibilities.

124

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know, and so it's up to you whether or not you want to engage with that or not, and

125

::

Cecilia de Groot: just have fun. Just enjoy the ride if you can, if you can.

126

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And if you aren't enjoying the ride, then maybe you should, you know.

127

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Jump timelines.

128

::

Cecilia de Groot: Right. Exactly. Let's let's manifest something else. Let's let's go over there. So that's not for me.

129

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: How do you that right now I was.

130

::

Cecilia de Groot: Oh, wonderful!

131

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Writing in my journal and and looking back through it just a few minutes ago, and

132

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: In January of 2024, I decided I was going to manifest a million dollars in one year.

133

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It was like the game.

134

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I've manifested large sums of money in the past, and I just I wanted to do it in one year.

135

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and so all of January I would

136

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: do things and get involved in things. And I'm I'm a millionaire and.

137

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's coming to me, and every day I would say, my daily mantra, that I'm grateful, that money flows to me in abundance and consistently

138

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And and then it took a whole year. In January of 2025, I was introduced to this crazy thing that I'm doing by a gal that I actually had interviewed on my podcast and

139

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I started started with like a thousand dollars, because it has to do with daily compounding interest.

140

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yet.

141

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And yeah, that $1,000 will grow to a million dollars by September of this year.

142

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's amazing.

143

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It is amazing. It's like.

144

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yes, mind blowing. I'm like.

145

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yeah, I'll tell you about it later, but it

146

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and for the listeners I'll put a link below, and so you can.

147

::

Cecilia de Groot: Everyone wants to know. Now.

148

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But yeah.

149

::

Cecilia de Groot: It.

150

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's

151

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: kind of crazy, but things on my timeline are different than things on the timelines that I had been experiencing before. Even last year I was on a timeline where investing looked a certain way.

152

::

Cecilia de Groot: I know.

153

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Anything outside of that was just like, Oh, that's too weird for me. But.

154

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I. I also like I buy cryptos and such. I guess it's not too weird for me.

155

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: When this came along it was like, oh, okay, there it is.

156

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: and it's it wasn't any effort.

157

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yes.

158

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: When we're having to to do the effort thing. I think

159

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it. It's not really right for us.

160

::

Cecilia de Groot: Everything is.

161

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Not for everybody.

162

::

Cecilia de Groot: No, it's true, and it can. It can feel like

163

::

Cecilia de Groot: it was so. I don't know if it's exhausting, but like.

164

::

Cecilia de Groot: Can't think of the word. But

165

::

Cecilia de Groot: like in business, you know. Say, you make a post, and you're like, hopefully, this gains traction, and then it goes nowhere, and you're like, should I keep trying this? Should I keep doing this? Is this a waste of time?

166

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It's kind of like that. We don't see results in our efforts. It's hard to want to continue so.

167

::

Cecilia de Groot: I get it. Make it simple. Keep it simple.

168

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. So just from sorry. Go ahead.

169

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I was just gonna say, when when you work with people, do you work in in groups, one on one.

170

::

Cecilia de Groot: I do both and I've actually started teaching like, so I'll I'll get them to like, drink their own tea and then help guide them to interpret their own leaves, and it's very much like, well, what do you see?

171

::

Cecilia de Groot: some people see lots of stuff. Some people don't see anything. And it's like, Okay, well, how do we bridge that gap for you? Right?

172

::

Cecilia de Groot: And it doesn't necessarily mean that there's not anything there.

173

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. So I'll read 4 people, one on one people get me to come to parties and stuff, and I'll read

174

::

Cecilia de Groot: each person individually. You know some people are listening and a part of everything. And then, like I said, I'll do the

175

::

Cecilia de Groot: big group not training but guidance.

176

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. And it's it's pretty neat. It creates a really

177

::

Cecilia de Groot: neat dynamic where you know I'm just like lean into that trust like I say, right, lean into trusting yourself.

178

::

Cecilia de Groot: You can't make any mistakes here.

179

::

Cecilia de Groot: and it's all for like fun, and maybe something will come out. Maybe you'll see something that you know came up in your cup, or that you felt or

180

::

Cecilia de Groot: whatever. Right?

181

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah.

182

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think, even if it's your imagination, it's good that's good

183

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: for us to imagine things. Imagine possibilities

184

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: like I. You know, I have Joan and the unicorns. I talk to them all the time, and.

185

::

Cecilia de Groot: Nice.

186

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Yes, they are my imaginary friends, but they answer me.

187

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Then they take me for rides when I'm feeling really stressed.

188

::

Cecilia de Groot: I need to do that.

189

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I'll lend you one of my unicorns.

190

::

Cecilia de Groot: Sounds good. I love that. Yeah.

191

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, well, and I mean, imagination is where we kind of 1st start as children right with our with our playfulness. So he leap. Reading also invites that in. And

192

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, I'm all about having a a pleasurable experience as well like

193

::

Cecilia de Groot: there's tea leaf readers in the world who'd be like? Nope, you have to have this tea that you don't like, because that's all I've got, and you have to have it straight up, and you can't have, you know, sugar and cream in it, or whatever it is you like, right? And I'm all like

194

::

Cecilia de Groot: you can't make like, I said, you can't make a mistake with this. It's all about your pleasure

195

::

Cecilia de Groot: all about enjoying discovering what's inside, right?

196

::

Cecilia de Groot: So.

197

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I I went to a tea ceremony. When I lived in Japan I was when I was a kid. The school

198

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: orchestrated an opportunity for us to go and participate in a tea ceremony. Which was it.

199

::

Cecilia de Groot: Cool.

200

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: It. It is so cool, I mean there, there's like

201

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: just picking up the whisk to whisk the.

202

::

Cecilia de Groot: The.

203

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And then the the whole process of boiling the water and pouring the water and blessing the water, and it was just like.

204

::

Cecilia de Groot: Hmm.

205

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Probably took 20 min to make the team 5 min process.

206

::

Cecilia de Groot: Right.

207

::

Cecilia de Groot: It sounds so grounding and like like making you be in the moment. Right? Be be present with what you're doing.

208

::

Cecilia de Groot: That's really cool.

209

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's the thing that I have taken from my time in Japan is intentionality.

210

::

Cecilia de Groot: I think.

211

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: They do, they do with intention, and it's very minimalistic.

212

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: But the beauty is in the minimalism.

213

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: They can take one cherry blossom, and it's just like

214

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: the way that it's sitting in the vase and the vase, the care they took to to find the vase. And I it's just like

215

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: There's such a rich experience.

216

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, I can feel it. I'm like, Oh, yeah.

217

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's like the medicine my own heart needed today.

218

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Aw.

219

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's that reminder. Yeah. And I also do like online. So

220

::

Cecilia de Groot: virtual readings and stuff, I can channel people. I just create, you know, make a cup of tea. Well, I don't make the full cup. I can't, can't drink that much tea in a day.

221

::

Cecilia de Groot: So I'll just you know. I'll just add a little bit of water just to soak the leaves and you know, be able to create that movement, and then

222

::

Cecilia de Groot: I follow the the process that I normally do for an in-person reading. And

223

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, share with them the results. We can stream it live, you know, like, like have a conversation much like we are now, and

224

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Haven't.

225

::

Cecilia de Groot: Or I can just type it up for them if they want to reflect back on that. Some people don't like that

226

::

Cecilia de Groot: face-to-face exchange. So that's great. And I can do groups this way, too.

227

::

Cecilia de Groot: So have a have a zoom party with people or whatever.

228

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. And and sorry. Yeah, go ahead.

229

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Do people repeat back to you, or report back to you that

230

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: what they're what you've seen or what they've seen has has happened for them.

231

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yes, some people have.

232

::

Cecilia de Groot: I did a group like teaching one time and the very next day one of the gals there she was like at the time. Everything you said didn't resonate. The next day

233

::

Cecilia de Groot: it happened. I was like, Wow, that was like where I think it was something to do with them. I was like, there's gonna be disputes over a contract, or will, or something like that. And then

234

::

Cecilia de Groot: that actually happened the very next day.

235

::

Cecilia de Groot: and then another reading I recently did for a lady. I saw the Golden Gate Bridge

236

::

Cecilia de Groot: and a young girl, or like younger woman.

237

::

Cecilia de Groot: and I'm like, do you have a daughter like? What is this showing, you know? And and then she like she didn't have a daughter. But, she reflected back, and she'd actually gone to San Francisco when she was 16.

238

::

Cecilia de Groot: And so like this past piece was coming out.

239

::

Cecilia de Groot: And we're like reflecting on that like what it meant. She's like, actually, this is a conversation I have to have with somebody

240

::

Cecilia de Groot: regarding that trip, you know, like things are were coming up for her about it. So it was like

241

::

Cecilia de Groot: really profound. There's a like the perfect image in there of a Golden Gate bridge, and a girl standing and looking at the bridge. It was like.

242

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, I love it. When people say

243

::

Cecilia de Groot: that they can see what I'm what I'm seeing, I'm like, look, do you see the image there. Some people can. Some people can't.

244

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, and then comes back to trust

245

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: People do oracle cards and tarot cards, and you know they.

246

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: the the card that's supposed to show up always shows up.

247

::

Cecilia de Groot: It does.

248

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think.

249

::

Cecilia de Groot: Just what you need.

250

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, I actually did a reading for myself yesterday. I report

251

::

Cecilia de Groot: yesterday online. And I was like, Okay, I gotta. I gotta get a glimpse of where this is going, because

252

::

Cecilia de Groot: I no matter what I do, I always have a bit of anxiety around having to go and do that right.

253

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I think it's more to do with like the trauma that everyone else has experienced

254

::

Cecilia de Groot: around court right like. When I 1st walked into a courtroom. I could feel the witch trials and stuff.

255

::

Cecilia de Groot: Feel that in those walls I just send love out to the walls, and I bless the judge and everybody else in the room, you know.

256

::

Cecilia de Groot: going off on a tangent. But yeah, so I did a reading.

257

::

Cecilia de Groot: and it came up. I used the good Tarot. Actually, I have it here because I do. I do tarot readings and stuff, too.

258

::

Cecilia de Groot: And it was what was it? The King of water which was like this kind, compassionate man, and I'm like, I'm pretty sure that's the judge.

259

::

Cecilia de Groot: And then it was like a stalemate which was, and then ultimately so like opening up and experiencing the world and traveling. And it was just something that

260

::

Cecilia de Groot: I've wanted to do and share with my kids what we've kind of been like, trapped because of family law

261

::

Cecilia de Groot: and not not able to like leave where we've lived for so long. Right? Because because of the system. They love their prisoners, anyway. Yeah, it worked out exactly that way. My ex decided to throw in the towel, at least in that moment.

262

::

Cecilia de Groot: cause he is dishonest and manipulative. And

263

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, finally finally came around and he he couldn't go anywhere with it. And

264

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, it's like, all right, I'll be free now. Can we go live our lives. Finally, there's still a few more steps that need to happen, but

265

::

Cecilia de Groot: definitely moving in that direction. So.

266

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: That's great. I'm really happy for you. I.

267

::

Cecilia de Groot: Me, too. The kids.

268

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Always exponentially complicate problems. But they're so worth it.

269

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yes, yes. Well, I I've learned a lot right, and I probably wouldn't be where I am today if I hadn't have gone through what I went through

270

::

Cecilia de Groot: like. I always knew there was like a lot of corruption and unhealthiness in in the in the world, in those systems.

271

::

Cecilia de Groot: and there's very much like

272

::

Cecilia de Groot: showed me, you know, and and me. I'm like, I'm a healer I'm like, can I fix this somehow? How do I fix this? And I think it's more about empowering people

273

::

Cecilia de Groot: and showing them. Yeah, you might have to play the long game.

274

::

Cecilia de Groot: Just keep putting one foot in front of the other, you know, and like, what are you committed to?

275

::

Cecilia de Groot: You know I had to check in with myself every day through the process I was like, is this worth it? Absolutely. It's worth it.

276

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, it's hard. Yeah, it's scary, you know. It's uncertain.

277

::

Cecilia de Groot: And and my prayer was always

278

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know. May the outcome be for the highest good of all.

279

::

Cecilia de Groot: and I had to let it go right. I'm like, I know, that my

280

::

Cecilia de Groot: my son isn't. He doesn't belong to me, you know, and nourish. Yeah, anyway.

281

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And they have a half. They're half him, too. I that. And I left my older kids. Dad.

282

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: it was like, really tried hard not to make it about him, and let them discover for themselves.

283

::

Cecilia de Groot: The pieces that.

284

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Cause the the problems. But I

285

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: if you can do that even as painful as it is, then

286

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: then there's then it just becomes a season. It doesn't become like.

287

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: The whole rest of your life is like ruined because of of what went on.

288

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah. Yeah. Well, it wasn't ever ruined, you know. Maybe it was like

289

::

Cecilia de Groot: waylaid a bit or whatever. But

290

::

Cecilia de Groot: no, the what I had to walk through.

291

::

Cecilia de Groot: fortified who I am, as a person, you know, like

292

::

Cecilia de Groot: I say thank you to him. I would never say it to his face, because

293

::

Cecilia de Groot: then you'd be like, Oh, you know, I was right. It is.

294

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, yeah. But I'm I'm very grateful for the lessons like I said I wouldn't be here doing what I'm doing, being able to offer people

295

::

Cecilia de Groot: a genuine understanding

296

::

Cecilia de Groot: of what they might be going through right cause I've lived it. I'm like I was forged in the fires of hell. Let's do this.

297

::

Cecilia de Groot: And yeah, and helping to find my own voice. So sometimes the medicine is bitter.

298

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's still medicine, right? Still.

299

::

Cecilia de Groot: I'm like, always like, find the silver lining. Don't deny that it's happening, but find that silver lining, you know it's your it's your saving grace, and even tea leaf reading is much like that, because you go to drink

300

::

Cecilia de Groot: the tea with the leaves floating in the water, and I'm like we live in such a

301

::

Cecilia de Groot: protected world, you know. Usually we get a tea bag. We don't have to experience any of the unpleasant sensations that might end up in our mouths, because, you know, the tea came out. Remember being upset because your tea bag broke. You're like, Oh, no.

302

::

Cecilia de Groot: it's in the water. What do I do? It's the end of the world. No, it's not

303

::

Cecilia de Groot: Just.

304

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Opportunity for you.

305

::

Cecilia de Groot: Right exactly. Exactly. Well, I used to be devastated if my tea bag broke like what? That was more when I was like a kid. But you know I still remember that feeling. And so with tea leaf reading, it's like a rite of passage, right? You kind of got to go through the uncomfortable things.

306

::

Cecilia de Groot: Get your answers so.

307

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: How'd you get started in this.

308

::

Cecilia de Groot: Well, I've always been an intuitive like. I remember being 5 years old looking at the world, being like what.

309

::

Cecilia de Groot: and and just picking up on all kinds of stuff.

310

::

Cecilia de Groot: and I still tried to integrate in what was expected of me as a human being in this

311

::

Cecilia de Groot: in this world, and.

312

::

Cecilia de Groot: It never worked. And

313

::

Cecilia de Groot: you know, I was trying to actually get into like empowerment coaching, as you say.

314

::

Cecilia de Groot: using the more traditional methods.

315

::

Cecilia de Groot: and I couldn't. I wasn't ready, you know. I was dealing with my own stuff.

316

::

Cecilia de Groot: and this just sort of came naturally. So

317

::

Cecilia de Groot: was it. December 2024, No. 23, sorry. December 2023.

318

::

Cecilia de Groot: I saw a post somebody looking for a tea leaf, reader, and I was like, well, I know 2, but they're probably really expensive, but they don't live in the area.

319

::

Cecilia de Groot: and in a pinch I could come do it for fun, and that was kind of it. I let it sit and simmer.

320

::

Cecilia de Groot: and then I jumped in with both feet. Actually I read a line in a book, and it was like, trust your intuition. And I was like, Oh, I could do that.

321

::

Cecilia de Groot: that's all I needed to know. Yeah. And then I just started putting it out there, and

322

::

Cecilia de Groot: people were really receptive to it. And

323

::

Cecilia de Groot: I go all over British Columbia. I'm in Canada.

324

::

Cecilia de Groot: And yeah, I wanna you know, I mean, I've read online all over the world now.

325

::

Cecilia de Groot: And I really want to get across Canada at some point, and just, you know, keep going. I love it.

326

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: So how can people find you if they were like interested in exploring what

327

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: what you're doing and how you're doing it?

328

::

Cecilia de Groot: Well, I'm mainly on Facebook. You can find me at. Ask Cecilia. So www@facebook.com slash. Ask me, Cecilia, is the

329

::

Cecilia de Groot: because the link I do have my own website, but I don't put in nearly as much time into it as I probably ought to, which I'm hoping to shift.

330

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's it's wearing many hats as an entrepreneur.

331

::

Cecilia de Groot: I'm just like, just tell me where to go, and I'll do it. Oh, I have all these other things to do, too. Okay, just yeah. Anyway, my website is, www.askee.com. I'm on Instagram as well.

332

::

Cecilia de Groot: Tiktok Youtube, you know. And.

333

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: This is.

334

::

Cecilia de Groot: All the places. Come, find me in person when I'm traveling around.

335

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: And some stuff, your own substance.

336

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah, I.

337

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Do you know what your publication name is?

338

::

Cecilia de Groot: It's probably something similar. Probably. Ask Cecilia.

339

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Celia, dot.

340

::

Cecilia de Groot: Yeah.

341

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: Ask Cecilia dot substack

342

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: dot com, and I'll make sure that I double check that before I put it in the show notes.

343

::

Cecilia de Groot: Sounds good. I yeah. I created a channel

344

::

Cecilia de Groot: a while ago on there, and I just haven't 1 of those like I said, like

345

::

Cecilia de Groot: so many things on the go. It's like, what's the one thing that's

346

::

Cecilia de Groot: the best thing to do. And like, I said, I wanna get away from Facebook because it

347

::

Cecilia de Groot: it's not. I don't know if it's like it's not fair to people like me.

348

::

Cecilia de Groot: and I feel like, because I was at 1 point doing really well, like I was probably getting too big too fast.

349

::

Cecilia de Groot: so they shove me down to the bottom of the feed, and even when I pay for advertising. I don't get any disability. So

350

::

Cecilia de Groot: yeah, yeah, I yeah, I need a shift. I was looking at Linkedin and stuff. It hasn't really

351

::

Cecilia de Groot: grab my attention. So I'm excited for substack.

352

::

Jill Hart-The Coach's Alchemist: I think you'll be excited when you if you just go over there and interact a little bit, you'll be like, oh, these are such great people.
